For some reason randomly playing with 24 bit skins in twctf mod team and enemy skins will be the same and even go to the ezquake base 24 skin below. twctf uses a twblue and twred 24 bit skins.
I am not sure if this is an issue with all quakeworld mods, but with thunderwalker ctf is one we play mostly.
I tested this with FTE client and have not seen the same issue. I believe that is precashed with that client.
Is anyone else having trouble with their team 24 bit skins?

yes, I can answer that for him as this has been an issue long before the vwep code was added into tw.

Does it behave in the same way with an older client like 1.8.x ?
There are alot of tips for submitting a good bugreport but from my experiences the most annoying thing with alot of the bugs is that they are not followed up by the reporter and its impossible to ask followup questions if needed to be able to properly resolve the issue.
Reporting tips: (most things are mentioned in the add bug form on sourceforge)
* Does it work on other machines/OS:s than your own
* Basic hardware info and which client you are using (OS, proc, video - gl or software, 32/64 bit)
* If you can reproduce the problem, describe how to do it
* If applicable, post screenshots/demos where the problem happends
* Does it work in other versions of the client
* Can you find others to confirm that the bug are not only on your system ?

I got similar problem:
If I got brightskins on and use some of the graphics presets, like eyecandy, the brightskins are gone and there's NO way to get them back.

The problem doesn't seem to make a difference what OS, video card or version of ezquake. And we did test it with 1.8 ezquake too.
