Hi,
I'm trying to create radar image for a qw map I made and I'm getting the no conversion formula found error. Here's what I did so far:
I used the bsp2bmp tool to create a bmp image from the bsp file and the result looks ok:
It would be much cooler to have a partly transparent png image and to get rid of some of the useless details to make the image less confusing, so I started to edit the image in Gimp 2.6.7 (still lots of things to do):
Apart from that, the bmp formats is not supported by ezQuake it seems, at least I'm getting a radar image not found error when I try to use one so I have to convert to png it seems. So I put my png image into /qw/radars/ but now I get the no conversion formula found error now. What's wrong?
The conversion formula should be in the metadata of the bmp so I guess Gimp removed it when I edited/converted the image but I'm not sure.
How can I see whether the formula is in the bmp image? And if it's in there and Gimp messed it up, which program doesn't?
EDIT: Found a brief description here. Doesn't really work though, I described what's going on in that thread.
Thanks,
