Thanks to Renzo's HOWTO I was able to create a custom crosshair which is nearly the exact same crosshair from quake 3. Here yah go: http://www.filefront.com/16702691/crossint.tga . In order to install it you must place it in the "C:\Program Files (x86)\nQuake\qw\crosshairs"(for 64 bit) or "C:\Program Files\nQuake\qw\crosshairs"(for 32 bit) directory, depending on your OS. Also, I dont know what you must name the "crossint.tga" if you want to keep the crosshair file that is already in the directory so im clueless there >.>. Finally, to make the cross hair look like that, you need to make the crosshair size "2.0". Also, adding some alpha may make it look a bit better.

You can dig up the crosshairs from Q3 .pk3s with a winzip or winrar if you want to have any of those crosshairs without any need for yourself to make one. You can find them in pak0.pk3 under \gfx\2d (named crosshair[a-j].tga).

Renzo, i've tried it once, they look weird. Maybe because two engines handle alpha settings differently. Same thing with hud items.
