Cool. Never realized that room was supposed to represent a bunch of computers because I always played software mode without textures etc.

If you enable ambient sounds, you can also hear these beeps and other "computery" sounds when it that room. Good story though. Who would have thought a deal gone bad would lead to the most popular tdm map in QW? ;-)

Ambient sounds ftw. Teleporters windy sounds, swamp sounds etc
That computer room was a maze when playing with keyboard only.

As weird as Romero is/was in the past, he has a ton of cool stuff for us Quake-heads coming out in the recent years in the form of his writeups and .map releases and so on
