There is a new QW LG tourney: LG CompetitionBased on the original IBC, compete against others by dealing the most Lightning Gun damage and efficency against a cpu opponent. Simple instructions and now you can upload your file directly to the website without having to enter your LG% or damage by hand -- the site takes care of the rest --phil

cl_rollangle don't work with that bots. always 0
and i need to do /addbot before ready

I cant use cl_rollangle with the bots, as B1aze said.

I can't work out where the autorecorded demo is saved. It should be somewhere in d:\quake\qw\demos\autorecorded but I can't find it

if you want to turn cl_rollangle on you have to add "localinfo proxy 1" in your lgc.cfg, maybe !phil forgot it, it was set to "1" in IBC tourney. Now You've Got Something To Die For

http:// ibc.quakeworld.nu it'd be nice to have an International Bot Challenge 2006, ideally with an updated qwprogs.dat to fix the LG knockback ^ this fix needs to be done before an LG tournament can be considered accurate for QW play

tourney didnt die, I was just sleeping i fixed the proxy 1 thing, the new lgc.zip should have cl_rollangle enabled bots now sorry about that. i heard some people had trouble uploading. can you elaborate on that? what does it say? just sits there? any error messages? etc

gaz, like it says on the instructions in the site it will be in quake\lgc\duel\ or quake\lgc\solo\ or something)

is it possible to turn off the pent glow for the bots in software (fuhquake). i have a skin that shows pent and the light is just annoying and laggy :\

is the settings exactly the same as in ibc, or did u change anything?

to turn off pent glow i think its like gl_flashblend 0 right? willgurht, the settings are pretty much the same. if you want to submit your old ibc demo, go ahead, it should work fine but im sure by now everyone can improve their old efforts

you can use r_dynamic 0 also if the light won't go away.. don't use it in regular quakeworld play though since it removes the quad glow and you don't want that

yer, i improved my score by just a little. Took less time to reach the result this time tho.

no cutoff date, im thinking about doing weekly winners: each week will end on sunday 11:59 PM greenwich mean time, and the winner of that week will be announced you can resubmit demos, only the best will be counted, and if you click your name you can see all the demos

(of course to win the next week, you will have to beat last weeks winner) or, I will have running winners. no time limit, just the current person with highest score is the winner the main point of this tournament is to see how everybodys "basic" shaft ranks up against each other kind of like this page http://speeddemosarchive.com/quake/otherdemos/demos.php?records=bunny (only its about movement, not lg aim)

i do 7290 damage and i get a crap rating , whats the deal there, i know your shaft percentage comes into that rating but it should just be based on damage

i watched the top demo (b1aze) and noticed the frogbot didnt spawn up the top once, when i play vs it it spawns up there alot. is it totally random or does it depend where you are on the map..

Remove s1k's demo. There's no way he has lg_pref enabled , and it's 4 or 5 minutes long
