Quarterfinal Bronze
The Gibbers vs Shadowdeath took place yesterday, I dont have access to upload the match on nqr.nu but it will be there soon I guess.
Here's the report however:
We (TG) were to face a quite easy opponent in the quarters, we've beaten them very hard in each pracc we've played against them, however, tonight that was not the case. It began on E1M2, their choice, it was a bit tight but they managed to win the map with ~40 frags, we were totally stunned, we thought we had them easily.
DM2, our choice, again an unexpected tight map, we locked it down after a while and played sauna mode, and managed to win with about 60 frags.
DM3, decider, they locked the map and had it totally until 10 min pent, we reclaimed the map and hunted the victory but didnt manage to do it, we lost the map with 3 frags, in the last 4 min me and Blau was the only ones to have a weapon, we ran around trying to get frags, I died unfortunatly with 1:30 left to play and a 10 frag difference, blau bored his rl to me since he was very weak, I took the last quad and tried to get them frags, but it was too late - Im just sad the games arnt 20:30
VERY WELL PLAYED Shadow Death, we didnt expect this for 5 seconds, but you played great, GG and Good luck in the Semis

kinda hard to schedule with them if everyone with ]SR[ in their name is banned from la channel, and since i can't find them on any other channel we had to wait till they msgd us. ^_^
