I agree with j0n and Para, lower DPI seemingly feels better then higher DPI. I spoke to Paradoks about this a while ago, as I was using 1800 DPI at the time. Since changing to 900 DPI my shafting and overall game has improved dramatically. I tried 1800 DPI again last night, although my shafting on povdmm4 keeping people in the air was better, but everywhere else was worse.
I agree with j0n as I use a DeathAdder Black Edition and use 900 DPI @ 1000hz, feels much more controllable then 1800DPI @ 1000hz and any higher is just ridiculous, I can't put my sensitivity low enough to play in any games.
Using the ph00n mouse site and entering all my values it says me circle is 20 cms, which it doesn't feel like that in game, but i have a Razer Goliathus 46 cm mouse pad so it would be pretty right.
My settings are:
Razer DeathAdder Black Edition
1000 hertz
900 DPI
20cm/360
I use the same settings for Quakeworld (DM and TF), Warsow and Team Fortress 2.
