Seems like site
http://mvdsv.qw-dev.net/ doesn't work anymore. Does anybody know what's with that project?
I want to set up quakeworld server on unix, i had positive experience with MVDSV on Windows 5 years earlier, but what's now?

Yea the site is dead.
But there are
updated repositories on github. no need of having a site
also instructions here http://wiki.quakeworld.nu/How_to_server
but the easiest route is using nquakesv
never argue with an idiot. they'll bring you back to their level and then beat you with experience.

Many thanks, dear sir! I'll try nquakesv at first, but in case of need i will have to deal with compiling mvdsv c-scripts (didn't have such experience before).

nQuakesv will download those for your platform, and you can use them
look for
./mvdsv
./ktx/qwprogs.so
hf!
