ill go with ur 1x0 in portugal/france match (sadly our brazil didnt last long with that lousy soccer)

but germany will rush thru italy, thats for sure... homeplay + motivation = win against a beat up italy

I think we'll see a Germany-France final. Portugal have got to the semis without playing well and I think a revitalised Zizou and co will cause them a lot of problems.

France play bad football? Did you not see either of their last 2 games? Zidane is back to his best and playing like a God, Vieira is rampaging through the midfield like a manbeast and Henry has finally found his scoring boots in a major tournament. Add the likes of Ribery and Malouda and France look like a very dangerous attacking side. Their performance against Brazil was the most impressive by any team in the whole tournament so far.

Yeah gaz, you're right. But even with the performance they had on those last 2 games I don't think they can beat Portugal playing at it's best. And I hope they do play their best! =)

But i'm really looking foward to see Italy - Germany.

Wow. Just wow.

That is what a World Cup semi-final should be like - it was the best game of the tournament by miles. Both teams played attacking football, showed great intent and this game would have made a superb final. Italy just shaded it for me with the solid maestro Cannavaro at the back, the magical passing in midfield between Totti, Pirlo and Gattuso and the excellent finishing when it counted.

I'm glad Germany are finally out. In my opinion our team could at no point compare with Italia. A victory would be sooooooooo undeserved. Looking forward to a rematch of the Euro 2000 final. Portugal must lose tonight. World champion will be a blue team now, no matter whether it's France or Italy.

Good to see that the team trying to play football won the game. Portugal had more of the ball but their diving, particularly in the area, was an absolute disgrace.

Even Zizou seemed tired.
