I recently started to edit my hud, and I was wondering how I can modify it some more besides altering the textures. Is there anything like a guide on editing the hud and such?

don't know of any guide but:
in ezquake you have the ability to modify your HUD from scratch
scr_newhud 1 and start placing/showing/positioning different HUD-items
for starters
hud_face
hud_ammo
hud_health
hud_gun1/2/3/4/5/6/7/8
hud_ammo1/2/3/4

TBH, that script is more of a challenge for me than it was to just learn the commands themself. Open up EzQuake, open your cfg, make a change, save it, cfg_load, rinse and repeat. Also, please check out some of the huds already posted on this forum. Vleesh made a really sweet hud.
