Thorin sat down with the old Quake legend Dennis "Thresh" Fong in a lengthy interview. The interview gives insight into the early Quake era and the beginning of E-sports when Thresh won John Carmack's Ferrari and tournaments like the CPL were still around.
Great interview. Lovely to see Thorin is still in esports and lovely to see Thresh answer questions I was interested in knowing his answers to. A few incorrect facts re: QW history but I guess that can be expected after such a long time. I definitely think Thresh made the right decision not to accept his invitation to the TGi. It would've taken up an insane amount of time et al for him to drop Q2 to get in shape for it and it would've been difficult for him to find a good variety of opponents to practice against even if he did. And of course from a financial standpoint there was nothing to gain.
Anyway, well done Thorin.
