Implied frags is a fancy way of describing what takes place during a control period for a team in qw 4on4 and why control is so important. In this video I attempt to explain how the concept can help us make good decisions, and that often we don't need to run around like maniacs after the next frags. Instead we need to consider how we can maintain control, as that maintains our fragging potential. Different situations can give us different amounts of implied frags. We talk about control in this video because it's the most practical and useful scenario for us to think about our implied frags. When out of control your considerations are different, such as sacrificing frags to break the oppositions control (eg. flooding a weapon/position).
By making the correct decisions with our resources (armour/weapons), we improve the fragging potential of our control phase. So to think about actively getting frags is pointless, because frags come all the time when you are holding control of the resources on the map efficiently.
In future videos I'll discuss how to hold control on dm3 and how to run quads so we get a better idea of the optimal way to hold control or get control on dm3.
I Hope you found this informative. My speaking is going to improve over time as I begin to work on it, thanks for watching!
