Overview
QWiki is was designed and created to take the old wiki.quakeworld.nu to new heights, visually and with enriched content. As the old one was left for dead, and as time went by, the ideas grew stronger for its replacement.
QWiki is heavily inspired by (and copied from) Liquipedia. They really pioneered esports content with well documented player and team information, aswell as up-to-date tournament infos. It is the goto place for information seekers.
Aiming to fill the same needs, for QuakeWorld explicitly, is the goal of this wiki. By driving inspiring content in hope to increase interest and participation. The QW scene is very unique in its way of not having standardized ways of sharing information, and can almost be seen as unserious because of its improvised and oftentimes unorganised content flow. Hopefully QWiki changes outsiders' views on QW, dusts off its long and gloomy history, and brings out this superb esport into the limelight.
