The gametype for EQL Season 3 was 4on4 Team Deathmatch where all games were BO3 apart from the playoff games which were BO5. Division 2 and 4 were split divisions, and division 3 and 5 featured the additional two maps CMT3 and CMT4. The league was plagued by walkovers in the playoffs, which was a common occurence back in the day when the playoffs dragged into the summer.
