We are now excited to present the first CTF 2on2 tournament since 2001 ish.

This tournament will be played in September. Schedule your own games!

Teams will be decided by a draft prior to the tournament.

Format

  • General Information
    • 10 min rounds
    • 2on2
  • Group stage, BO5:
    • Maps: The procedure is "pick (team 1) - pick (team 2) - pick (team 2) - pick (team 1) - play".
    • The team that wins "/cmd rnd team1 team2" picks first.
    • Team colors will be randomized for each round.
    • The first team to win 3 maps wins.
    • Standings determined by won games, followed by won rounds followed by total frag difference.
  • Grand Final, BO5:
    • The top 2 teams play a Grand Final
    • Maps: The procedure is "pick (team 1) - pick (team 2) - pick (team 2) - pick (team 1) - play".
    • The team that wins "/cmd rnd team1 team2" picks first.
    • Team colors will be randomized for each round.
    • The first team to win 3 maps wins.

General CTF info

  • Weekly games

CTF community are arranging weekly games on Mondays and Thursdays. Everyone is welcome to participate. All info in CTF Discord.

  • How to get started with CTF
    • Bind the hook with +fire 22 , or impulse 22 (bind q +fire 22) for example.
    • Bind tossrune, to throw away your current rune: (bind r tossrune) for example.
    • Practice your hook skills and config on a KTX-server. For example: connect london.badplace.eu:28503, in the console, type: ctf, then type: practice.
    • The map Mammoth by Sweden alice and QWRCTF1 by Infiniti are at the moment only available on de.aye.wtf:27501.
