Stroggopolis is a 4v4 TDM map created by the mapper kwon. The idea for the map emerged in 2023 with the concept of creating a tournament that offers mappers the opportunity to create new maps and test them through a very short tournament format. This marked the birth of the blitzkrieg cup. Stroggopolis was the first map played in this format and received good acceptance from players. However, its very similar geometry led to significant orientation difficulties. For this reason, the mapper decided to design Stroggopolis in such a way that symbols and color-coded cues provide the player with the best possible orientation. The name stroggopolis derives from the stroggs, the antagonists from Quake2, and the DM map claustrophobopolis, also known as DM2. | Stroggopolis is a 4v4 TDM map created by the mapper kwon. History of stroggopolis:

Layout
Stroggopolis is arranged like a circular walkway. Slightly off this walkway lies the GA area, which provides quick access to the center. From the center, it’s possible to reach all key points on the map quickly. In the sometimes narrow corridors of Stroggopolis, using the SSG and SNG offers a particular advantage.
Strategy & Tactics
Try to control one of the two main areas: the RA area or the YA area. Fight in the center for the Shaft and Pent. For a quick and surprising access to the Quad, it’s a good strategy to attack from the center via the green teleporter. Controlling the GA can significantly shift the balance.
