Scorpion wanted to join clan Triple 7, but because of his high ping, he was not allowed in. Reportedly, he then copied the Triple 7 clan website and put it online on a different server and added his name to the members list. Of course that lead to serious arguments, after which Scorpion decided he could start his own clan. For unknown reasons he called it IT.
Members that joined where all from the same region: Aalten. The clan spawned some active players that where well known in the first years of the Dutch quake scene.
History
IT joined the first Quake LAN party in the Netherlands: Qday (100 participants). The players that went were: Scorpion, Necrobic, KiF, Agony. They were amazed that everybody was playing with a mouse instead of keyboard only. The clan ended up in last place and after the most active players went to different clans, clan IT was disbanded. It briefly surfaced a few years later, but it was not a success.
