Description
Pro-X is a slightly modified version of the original Clan Arena Mod. Originally it was created as rocket arena hybrid that allows players to join different arena's in 1v1 battles where everyone starts with the same health, armor, and weapons along with arena's for team play. Unlike the original CACE, Pro-X includes hitsounds, name tagging, and sudden death built into a variety of maps.
Installation
AS of 2013, Pro-X is known to work better using FTE server.
Here's an example of a linux command line to enable Pro-X, with an "prox" folder in linux:
./fteqw.sv -port 27500 +gamedir prox +exec qw_server.cfg
Notice the +gamedir.
Leagues
claw started the first clan arena league called Fusion (league) incorporating Pro-X into the tournament.
Developers
- Ben Electro Darling (co-Creator of Reflex Arena)
