End2 is a revisited version of the classical End.

Purpose of the map

  • The reason for making a new version of End is primarily because of the competitive issues. The issue is that the original map require a "gentlemans agreement" how to play the map with unwritten rules: to head into the fray at the center platform without laming by delaying yourself near these two spawns:
    • The pathway towards the water - this pathway is now deleted
    • Spawn at the teleport - spawn is made more exposed to stay at
  • Besides these two fixes the map has 100% same geometry as the original End. The spawnpoints or any other geometry has not been moved 1 pixel away to preserve the same gameplay of End.

(the visible cracks in the center platform does not prevent splash rockets and the platform still acts exactly like the original End)

Lore

Shub-Niggurath is a fictional creature often mentioned by the writer H. P. Lovecraft. She is often associated with the phrase "The Black Goat of the Woods with a Thousand Young", also described as "The Lord of the Wood". Lovecraft explicitly defined Shub-Niggurath as a mother goddess, the "All-Mother".
