Try and use standins that actually plays in the league because that standin will then get this game/maps registered in the rankings. Also if possible try and get a standin that is close in the rankings of the player(s) missing. A standin used that is not in the league is also ok but all players should agree on that. Standins not in the league will be listed as standin players in the rankings, they dont affect anything in the league standings.

Players can for any reasons drop out of the season, but by doing so you delete everything you did and you are deleted from the rankings. As this is a league that is fixed for 32 players (or 40, 48, 56 etc), new players can join in anytime if replacements are needed. Players who signed up as #33 and up will then be asked first, as they are on "waiting list". Remember: A season last only 5 weeks (2 games per week), before we launch a new one.

Format

The season consists of 6 games of GO3 for each player (18 maps played) + a BO5 playoff; starts with Quarter Finals. Each map is played twice (9 maps). Each round (6 rounds) you play 3 maps.

There are 8 teams in the league: RED (color 4 4), BLUE (color 13 13), YELLOW (color 12 12), GREEN (color 3 3), BROWN (color 1 1), ORANGE (color 5 5), PINK (color 6 6), SKYBLUE (color 2 2) and the players in each team is decided by the rankings. In the first round the teams will be decided by the admins ranking setup, but each round after that the teams are decided by the results of the previous round. Go to ranking to get an overview (also look at QML season 1).

When the last round is done (round 6) the playoff teams are set; the final standing in the table decides the playoff teams, who then are fixed for the whole playoff. Random draw will decide what teams face each other in the playoffs.

TIMEFRAME

There will be 1 game per week. Teams schedule the game themselves within that week. This means 6 weeks for 6 rounds and 2 weeks for playoffs. Start date is when we got enough players to start (minimum 32 players).

Rankings

The ranking of players is needed to sort out the teams for each round, to make teams as fair as possible. The ranking has this formula:

Average frags per map: 75 % value
Win % (average map wins): 25 % value

These two sums are added together and is called R (Rank) in the player ranking. This sum dont show decimals but decimals are generated to sort out correct order (as some players are tied).

If a player is considered too strong for the league (bad admin call, a faker, whatever reason) that player will be deleted from the season and the rankings.

Game Procedure

For a game to get going players need to take charge them selves, so the highest ranked player in the game will have to take some responsibility and be "admin" of the game. If a game is already 5 minutes delayed and players are not on server, standins can be used.

Try and use standins that actually plays in the league because that standin will then get this game/maps registered in the rankings (standin rankings). Also if possible try and get a standin that is close in the rankings of the player(s) missing. A standin used that is not in the league is also ok but all players should agree on that. Standins not in the league will be listed as standin players in the rankings, they dont affect anything in the league standings.

Late players to a game can ofc join in after 1st or 2nd map, so leave specs ON.

As each game got 3 fixed maps to play, it dont matter in what order you play the maps.

QML got their own FFA SERVER running QML maps only at Berlin2 FFA KTX: 34.32.2.12:27505. It rotates the maps with timelimit 6 so that it spawns 2 pents/rings during a map. Thanks to Sweden Oddjob for the server!

Players leaving/joining/noshows/standins

Players can for any reasons drop out of the season, but by doing so you delete everything you did and you are deleted from the rankings. As this is a league that is fixed for 32 players (or 40, 48, 56 etc), new players can join in anytime if replacements are needed. Players who signed up as #33 and up will then be asked first, as they are on "waiting list". Remember: A season last only 8 weeks, before we launch a new one.

Noshow for games is allowed (but it would be nice with a message about it), but you will miss out in the rankings. If a noshow keeps on noshowing, admins will evaluate the situation and possibly replace that player. Standins will be used, there will be no delays or rescheduling.

New players joining will be placed at the bottom of the ranking.
