QuakeWorld Eternal is a 4on4 event that takes place during 2024 and 2025.

QuakeWorld Eternal is an annual event designed to enhance and elevate the tactical prowess (TP) of both newcomers and seasoned players within the QuakeWorld community. This event uniquely focuses on grinding through established high-quality 4on4 maps, offering teams the opportunity to deepen their strategic gameplay and team dynamics.

The core philosophy behind QuakeWorld Eternal is that true excellence in QuakeWorld can only be achieved through a cohesive and well-trained team. It is this belief that steers the event towards being exclusively clan-based. Participating teams, or clans, are expected to have a synergistic blend of energy and chemistry, which is essential for pushing the limits of the game and achieving new heights of team play.

The primary goal of QuakeWorld Eternal is to incrementally increase the overall tactical proficiency of all participants. By focusing on established maps with known strategic complexities, players can engage in deeper and more meaningful gameplay, analyzing and adapting their tactics more effectively with each session.

The event will take place on the timeless 'tb3' maps (DM2, DM3, and E1M2), along with Schloss, which are known for their strategic depth and potential for high-level team play. These maps have been chosen for their ability to foster intense and tactical gameplay, essential for clans aiming to refine their strategies and coordination.

There will be no divisions, everyone's welcome to participate. However, we introduce the "rule of towel" when a div3 team can give a one-time WO if they are to play a div1 team.

The structure of the event is playoffs only, based on team seedings collectively made by the team captains secret votes.

However, QuakeWorld Eternal is also open to evolution. Should new maps emerge that meet the community's standards for quality and TP potential, they may be incorporated into future seasons. This openness ensures that the event remains dynamic and aligned with the community's growth and preferences.

At the heart of QuakeWorld Eternal is Śniegowy, an advanced Discord bot designed to revolutionize how players and clans analyze their performance. Śniegowy meticulously collects and displays a wide array of detailed statistics from each game, offering unprecedented insights into your gameplay.

With Śniegowy, every rocket launcher drop, every strategic move, and every shot fired is accounted for. Players can delve into comprehensive stats to answer questions like: How many rocket launchers did you drop last night? Or over the course of the event? How effective is your boomstick play under pressure? Śniegowy makes tracking these metrics not just possible, but user-friendly and accessible directly through Discord.

Śniegowy is more than just a stat tracker—it's a game enhancer that brings a new level of depth to your competitive experience in QuakeWorld Eternal. Now, every clan has the opportunity to not only compete but also to learn and grow with every game, powered by analytics that were once beyond the reach of many gamers.

Prepare your rocket launchers, gather all the cells, sharpen your nailguns... And become ETERNAL.
