Initially named naked7b2, cmt3 was released in 2002 by Baby Roo as a part of the Custom Map Tournament project, springing from a team of mappers lead by Link from Challenge Smackdown Map Development department.
The map had groundbreaking textures for its era, and was made purely for 4on4.
The idea for the map sprung out of naked6, a map in Baby Roos naked series.
Trivia
- Created with Worldcraft 1.6
- The CMT-logo that can be seen on the map is made by Zaka.
