Fnu

fnu (#fnu members are very anal about not typing fnu with a capital F) does not, contrary to popular belief, stand for anything.

History

Fnu is actually called fnu-qw, and was the QuakeWorld section of the IRC channel #fnu. #fnu (the channel) was founded in July 16 2000, and fnu-qw was "founded" (first match) in October 2002. At the beginning, only #fnu members were allowed in the QuakeWorld section, but after Sassa dragged in his friends (Adde & Diablo), the QuakeWorld section opened up its doors for new members. After fnu-qw started growing, the skill gap inside the clan got wider, and fnu-qw got separated into fnu1 and fnu2. Fnu1 consisted of Empezar, Sassa, Diablo and Seese and never played a single match. Fnu2 however, being angry at fnu1 for leaving them alone with the lower divisions, changed their name to "boeg.qw" and started using strange nicks ingame. Boeg.qw eventually died too.
