Scandinavian Mighty Ones was a duel tournament started up and maintained by Sammael and hosted by FragZone. It was started up in 1997, and closed about one year later. SMO worked as a ladder with an ELO-based ranking system, so the skill differense between the players would determine the ladder points won and lost after the match. A top player winning over a bottom player would hardly effect the ratings, the reverse result would give a huge boost to the poorly rated player and vice versa.
