player introduction
From Challenge-TV's coverage of True Gamers Invitational:
"The TGI brought together 10 of the best Quake players in the world. One of the absolute best of the bunch was Blitzer, from Finland. Whereas one or two of the others were a little, shall we say, "fussy", Blitzer settled down and just played the game. Not that there is any problem with a player asking for the best conditions to compete under, it's just that, if Blitzer had any complaints, he didn't bother anybody about them. When he played, he was simply committed to playing his best, win or lose. I never saw Blitzer give up, and although he didn't win any games he played damn hard and had many hard-fought games with Sujoy, Nikodemus, Sectopod and Kane."
