We are now excited to present the second edition of CTF Showdown.
This tournament will be a two-day thriller, offering everything that was captured during CTF Showdown in May - but over two nights which should add an extra dimension to the tournament.

- General Information
- 10 min rounds
- 4on4 (3on3 if one team can´t get a full squad or a stand-in that is accepted by the other team).
- Group stage 5 Dec, 2022: Round-robin play GO3
- 3 rounds on pre-determined maps: Mammoth (by Alice), RCTF1 (by Infiniti), CTF8.
- Standings determined by won games, followed by won rounds followed by total frag difference.
- Semis and Grand Final 12 Dec, 2022: BO5
- 2 rounds x 2 maps, tiebreaker if necessary.
- Each team picks a map from a pre-determined map pool: Mammoth (by Alice), RCTF1 (by Infiniti), CTF8, E2M2.
- Lower seeded team picks map first.
- Tiebreaker rules
- Each team drops one map of: Mammoth (by Alice), RCTF1 (by Infiniti), CTF8.
- Lower seeded team drops one map first.
- Schedule

We encourage old timers as well as new folks to participate, everyone will be able to play and contribute. It will be two evenings to remember.

General CTF info
- Weekly games
CTF community are arranging weekly games on Mondays and Thursdays. Everyone is welcome to participate. All info in CTF Discord.
- How to get started with CTF
- Bind the hook with +fire 22 , or impulse 22 (bind q +fire 22) for example.
- Bind tossrune, to throw away your current rune: (bind r tossrune) for example.
- Practice your hook skills and config on a KTX-server. For example: connect london.badplace.eu:28503, in the console, type: ctf, then type: practice.
- The map Mammoth by Alice are at the moment only available on de.aye.wtf:27501.
