TEC ELITE CUP 2023 is a 1on1 tournament aimed at all QuakeWorld players.
The tournament starts in September and is scheduled to end in October 2023. Players will be divided into two divisions and groups, there will also be a knockout phase and finals. The winner from Division A will play the Super Final together with the winner from Division B.
With eyes on the horizon, the plan is to host another international tournament in 2024, running on the same formula but aimed to the all Quakeworld clans in a 4on4 event.
Format
Official weekend schedule will be released on 29 August. Divisions and Groups will be drawn on stream.
- All games are played on given nights (i.e. Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays)
- 5 following weekends for group games and playoffs, and 1 weekend for finals
- Group Stage (2 groups)
- Round Robin, all-play-all in group
- All games BO5
- Top 8 advance to Playoffs
