End2 is a revisited version of the classical End.
Purpose of the map
- The reason for making a new version of End is primarily because of the competitive issues. The issue is that the map require a "gentlemans agreement" how to play the map with unwritten rules: to head into the fray at the center platform without to not be laming by delaying yourself near these two spawns:
- The pathway towards the water - this pathway is now deleted
- Spawn at the teleport - spawn is made more exposed to stay at
- Besides these two fixes the map has 100% same geometry as the original End. The spawnpoints or any other geometry has not been moved 1 pixel away to preserve the same gameplay of End.
(the visible cracks in the center platform is still exactly the same as the original - these cracks cannot be shot through to deny rocket splashes)
Lore
Shub-Niggurath is a fictional creature often mentioned by the writer H. P. Lovecraft. She is often associated with the phrase "The Black Goat of the Woods with a Thousand Young", also described as "The Lord of the Wood". Lovecraft explicitly defined Shub-Niggurath as a mother goddess, the "All-Mother".
