European Quake League Ladder 5 is a 4on4 event that takes place during autumn 2024. Always time for some prac between the league games!

Another ladder season is upon us, now with revised rules about points, challenges, standins, and internal pracs!

Sign up

Your clan can either sign up by messaging  Hooraytio#3070 on discord, or just agree to play a ladder prac with another clan and report the result in the #ladder-reports channel on the qlanwars discord.

Rules

• Prac procedure: Agree to play a ladder prac with another clan. Team and/or tag must be your clans name or tag. Play as many maps as you like. You get points for every map your clan plays, see "Points" below. Whoever has the most points at the end of the season wins.

• Points: Each clan starts with 1000 points. For every map your clan win against another clan you get 5% worth of their points. For every map you lose against another clan you get 1% worth of their points, this can be seen as activity reward. You cant lose points. For example, clan A prac vs clan B, they play 3 maps, clan A win 2 maps and clan B win 1 map. Both clans had 1000 points before the prac. Clan A will get 50+50+10 and clan B will get 10+10+50. Points are calculated from the points each clan had before the prac and not one map at a time.

• Challenges: Challenge points are awarded to teams based on completed EQL Ladder listed challenges. Claims of completed challenges must be made no later than season end date, with a supporting time stamped screenshot/.mvd uploaded in #eql-spl. New challenge proposals during season are most welcome, but must be listed on the Wiki before date of claim. Unless it's really awesome.

• Challenge cup: The clan with the most challenge points at the end of the season wins the Challenge cup

• Clans and players: A clan can have any number of players. Members will not be listed. If the opponent does not agree with your line-up then find another opponent. You are allowed to create new clans and switch teams during the ladder.

• Maps: Any map is allowed, it is not up to the admin to decide which maps you want prac on. If the opponent doesnt agree with your pick then play another map or find another opponent.

• Stand-ins: You can use any standin you want as long as you can find an opponent who wants to play. Max 1 standin per clan to count as a ladder prac.

• Prac vs mix: Your clan can prac versus a mixed team, a mix team will be listed for statistical purposes but will not collect points. Mix team will have static 500 points from which your clan will collect % points from wghen playing vs mix.

• Prac vs 2 clans: If you struggle to get 4 during summer you and a clanmate can team up with 2 members of another clan to prac against a third clan. For example tim tco (oeks) dje nas (tsq) vs hx. But compared to last season you will now share the points won between the 2 clans instead of both clans getting full points for each map won. The other clans % win points will be calculated from the average total points of the 2 clans they meet.

• Internal Prac: Will no longer count as a ladder prac.

• Server settings: Standard settings set by command /4on4

• Reporting: Report the game with screenshots in #ladder-reports
