While everyone thinks his nick was picked because of MC HAMMER the singer, it actually started around 1998 when moving into high-school some bullies tried to steal his wallet and as he couldnt defend himself with his bare hands at the time, he ran home and took a HAMMER from his daddy´s garage. One of the bullies stayed in the hospital for a few weeks and he was and still is know and called all over Portugal by his friends and family as HAMMER since then.
