History

Thangorodrim was founded at January 2003. Samgorod returned to Quakeworld and wanted to create a brand new clan with a unique name. J.R.R. Tolkien's Silmarillion was Samgorod's favorite book at the day and Thangorodrim (Morgoth's Mountain of Fire) sounded a good name for the clan. First Samgorod recruited a few old friends (as a veteran it was easy) and so {T} started practising for NQR4. After a while we were fortunate to cross paths with some fine players and so our ranks grew constantly stronger. We tasted some glory and suffered some bitter defeats, but most importantly we had a lot of fun.
