Started playing in 2003, at the age of 12, "GT" had his first contact with Quakeworld through a friend of his brother. In the first year playing, he competed in a e1m2 championship held at his own house. Later on he started playing TD2 - a popular mod played in Brazil - which he enjoyed very much. In 2006 GT participated in a TD2 championship, but when TD2 eventually died out, GT started to play FFA in Brazilian servers in 2007, and this is likely where his gameplay style started evolving. Aggressively quadraging without worrying about killing teammates and the freedom to shoot everywhere.

GT's been relentlessly playing ever since, except for a 6 months break. Whenever internet connection was slow, or down, playing against bots kept him going.
