Quake tournament and choosing an opponent for the match with clan 9, which was supposed to arrive.
The tournament consisted of two parts,
First part took place on February 27 there were four clans:

• Data Force
• Funeral Birds
• America Must Die
• Red Devils

Based on the results of the games, the Penza clan Funeral Birds was eliminated, the other teams had the same number of points.

The second part took place on March 14, 1999. America Must Die won both their matches, Data Force won against Red Devils.

After which the AMD clan began to officially wait for the arrival of the clan 9.
