Swedish Quake League (SQL) was a 4on4 Team Deathmatch tournament run by Totte of Crusaders. It's official start-up was January 27th 1997, and it ran for six seasons until the spring of 1998. For the 2nd season, the league was divided in an LPB and a HPW division. Only Swedish clans were allowed to participate, but the three Norwegian clan The Vicious Vikings, Spawn Clan and Clan Ragnarok were allowed to enter SQL's HPW division in September 1997 because they were the only HPW clans in Norway, and a league of three clans would be no fun.
