Maphub v2 is the second iteration of the server default map, where players can see popular maps in various categories and enter them through teleporters. Crafting started in summer 2024, with release planned for Christmas. Technical difficulties and optimizations delayed final release to January, 2025.
Maphub v2 use alot more geometry from each of the 186 maps, to give each teleporter entrance more detail and visually helping players see "what you get".

Known quirks
- To open the race gate,
/practice
need to be enabled. Server should have maphub_v2.cfg in ktx/configs/usermodes/ (containingset srv_practice_mode 1
) to always enable this. - Some ezQuake settings (gl_modulate with gl_outline) makes sign texts appear invisible/unreadable.
Finding the right combination of gl_outline_world_normal_threshold
and gl_outline_world_depth_threshold
might help.
