After having played mostly Marathon on Mac, Xerial got a PC and discovered Quake in 1997, while reading the PC gamer issue that covered Quake SM '97. He played mostly on local LAN parties in Eskilstuna together with Sweden Ztorm and at that time recently transitioned RQ player Sweden Wretch, who was associated with Clan Tjack. As an HPW he made brief appearances in some clans sporadically and organized local LAN parties in Eskilstuna.
