Barrel of a Gun
Barrel of a Gun (BOG) clan was created on June 16, 1997.
The leader and creator of the clan was Nark (Denis Lysenko).
The creation of the clan was mainly due to the appearance of T12 in St. Petersburg and Nark's presence of a grid.
At that time, the clan consisted of:
Nark, Villain, Den, KoFF, GREEN, QuakeMan, LowPower
Then there was a time of training, going to grids, playing on T12...
Our clan was considered the strongest in the Quake standard.
After a long period of inactivity, KoFF was expelled from the clan.
Then there was the All-Russian open championship in QUAKE, which became the apogee of our game in Quake. The strength of our clan is evidenced by the fact that all representatives of our clan reached the third round, four made it to the fourth round, three to the fifth, two to the sixth, and finally, the winner of the championship was the founder of our clan Nark.
After the championship, there was a decline. I didn’t want to play seriously anymore.
And the championship, to some extent, was the end of our serious game in quake.
After the championship, Nazgul was accepted into the clan.

At this time, TeamFortress received serious development in St. Petersburg. Nark tried to put together a team from us capable of becoming one of the first in St. Petersburg. He didn’t succeed and Nark decided to leave us, going to FireWolf.
This happened in early February.
After leaving, the life of our clan stopped a little.
But after some time, we still decided to continue playing and winning.
In early March, Reptile was accepted into the clan. The decision later turned out to be correct and Reptile is now one of the best Quake2 players.
At the same time, it was decided to forget about TF and Quake1 and completely switch to Quake2. Around the same time, GREEN left the gaming life for a long time.
On April 4, the Quake2 championship in St. Petersburg was held in the computer center "SARGONA". QuakeMan won the championship.
On April 18, 1998, BigGun was accepted into the clan.
