"Well, I am a bit sorry that this match went under way at all. The thing is that at the time I was very stressed since I knew I would have to spectate two matches in ... perhaps 50 minutes time or so, and that I had to meet up with all the player on IRC. When ED showed up without their Qizmos configured correctly ... I lost patience and just asked the players to decide where and how to play this. This resulted in that the match was played on the Ocrana DECL-server in Germany where both teams had lousy connections ... but ED, playing from the same cable, had much worse packetloss when the games were under way and the action got started. They had set their rates down to like 3500 in the second game, but it didn't help them much. They constantly kept getting red pl %. TEC also lagged, but on average had much lower pl.
This is the kind of match where some time should have been put into finding a proper server. TEC wanted to play here and I didn't have any suggestions. ED only had server suggestions in Russia which of course didn't help much ... all in all not very clean games ... a lot of lag and quite a lot of chaos.
I feel that these matches would have been much more interesting if it wasn't for the disastrous lag. " -Ego
