Introduction

Match report

DM3

FF: 262 - VVV: 36
Ff-vvv-dm3.jpg
Map pick by Flaming Fist.

Demos: pietro (FF) | reppie (VVV)

"The first pent was taken by FF's aKKe and Quad was in VVV's hands. Both teams weren't able to use their powerups effictivelly. The first minutes were dominated by boomstick fights and the tries to get a weapon and armor by nearly all players. FF held the RA and VVV was able to hold the RL for a few minutes. Both teams got quad sometimes, FF seemed to be in a little advantage in map control though. FF showed the nicer teamplay though. One nice example was Pietro who was on low armor/health and blew up himself to get aKKe his backback who was having ya and 100 health and got quad then. After 8 minutes the score was about 60 - 30 to FF and then they gained control over the whole map and totally locked VVV down. When FF's Exile got the 3rd Pent the score was already about 100 - 30 without scores from VVV anymore. Between the 12th and 13th minutes the server had very bad lags for very short time giving all players a PL about 20-30%. For most players the lag was gone as quickly as it came but one of VVV's players kept lagging through the whole game with ping 200 and pl 20%. As said before, VVV lost all important locations and weren't able to find a way back into the game and finally lost 262 - 36 to a VERY strong playing Flaming Fist." -Andy

DM3-2

FF: 232 - VVV: 10

"VVV's map choice also felt on Dm3 (with fairpacks LST though) and they really got a good start...well in theory at least. VVV got the first pent plus the quad. They just didn't use them as well as they should have done. After 2 minutes FF already lead 11 - 0 which was pretty suprising because both powerups landed in VVV players' backpacks. There's not much to write about that match because FF just did frag after frag. With 11 minutes of playing the score was already 101 - 9 to FF and one minute later another worse thing happened to VVV. They lost 'dekkie' who was playing from uni/school (sorry just heard that in Dutch ;) to get his ping 22 and a secruity guy came in so he had to drop from game. That definately meant the defeat of VVV. They had to play the rest of the game with just 3 players and they even hadn't one location when he quit. They never found into this game and finally lost the second map with 232 - 10." -Andy
