"This match was played on a Dutch-server which we at the time thought was the best option. OC has very good connections overall (with the exception of Gore who is on ISDN) so I expected their ping to be somewhat lower than FX's. Unfortunately the server proved quite volatile for FX, especially for Eternal who's packetloss jumped to quite high numbers several times in the game.
Anyway. The game began with FX getting a major full start, claiming the pent, quad and first RL. OC manages to take the second rl though and secure the second quad as well. The fighting is tense but OC managed to cling on around RA and the quad-ledge thereby giving them easy access to the vital powerup. 18 minutes left of the game see OC in the lead by 1 frag. OC gets another quad and one of their players kills himself to give the quadbearer a rocketlauncher. 17 minutes left and OC have increased their lead to 8 frags. Around this time, Gore times out and FX beginning to take the brunt of some heavy PL-attacks. Still, OC is increasing their lead and Gore gets back in quick enough to get back into positions. OC keep capitalizing on the quad and keeps the pressure on FX.
Around the time for the second pent, I had to go get some food ... even admins need sustenance I am afraid. I returned back around the 9:th minute to find OC firmly in control with a lead of 45 frags. OC kept YA but FX had managed to take RA for a brief while. I must have missed the pent while eating but it looked as if OC was still reeling in the quads in any case. 9 minutes remaining and OC is +58 frags, retaking the RA from FX defenders.
FX starts hanging around the water scrounging for weapons. OC keeps control of the level, increasing steadily to +79 frags in the 14:th minute to +100 frags in the 16:th. Then FX packetloss is suddenly reduced and they manage to take out the next OC-quadbearer. FX is fighting back with increased fervor the last few minutes, of course the game is already won by OC though." -Ego

"The second match was played on German Ocrana where the pings were more even (to our amazement) although Gore had what he reffered to as "modem ping" =) .
OC began with taking the pent as FX took Quad. It was pretty furious in the beginning, FX getting the upper hand and showing just why they are considered to be the best clan in Poland. FX took the next quad as well and were in the lead with 5 frags with 18 minutes to go. OC were perhaps a bit surprised in the beginning, seeing that they had won it pretty easily last time around, but they soon got their men into positions and took two consequtive quads and grabbing the lead for a brief period. FX were not about to loose this one though and retook the lead, holding the YA-area whilst OC retreated to RA. 16 minutes to go and FX leads with three frags.
The fighting rages on, scores tied at 29. Then OC manages to take both the pent and the quad whilst still having a hold of RA. 14 minutes remaining sees OC taking the a firm lead with +14 frags to their name. OC takes another quad but FX manages to kill it before any major harm is done. So ... OC takes the next one and plows around with it. Enough is enough, FX manages to steal the next quad and shaftrape some OC players before having it killed. FX are hanging around the YA-bridge area whilst OC secure the quad-ledge. 11 minutes remaining, OC is up by seven frags.
That's when FX overruns the quad and takes the powerup. FX does considerable damage to OC's positions and OC's initial hold is suddenly broken as FX takes the lead. 8 minutes remaining has FX in the lead with 16 frags; grabbing another quad to make it +26 in the next minute.
The next few quads are mixed, but FX makes better use of them and increases their lead steadily ... then suddenly: God steps in and provides a refreshing 600ms 60% pl for all FX - players. OC seeing their chance retakes positions and reduces FX's lead. Still, they can't break them, and as the lag subsides with around a minute or so to go, FX gets back into the frey and does some damage again. GG!" -Ego

OC: 142 - FX: 38
Tiebreaker.
"I was in IRC talking with some RC players when the game got underway ... unfortunately missing who got the first powerups. The game was pretty tense though with a draw at the first minute. FX got the second quad but had it quickly but down. Two minute mark and OC leads by 6 frags, proceeding to take the next quad and hold YA as FX has the red one. In the start of this game FX concentrates on quad as well, but as they take another one of the powerups, it too is killed by OC. Around the 6:th minute, Nukem disconnects and is out for a brief period. 15 minutes to go, OC leads by 13 frags.
Cruel gets both quad and pent and goes on a rampage. OC keeping the quadcontrol as FX seems to loose both spirit and positions. 13 minutes to go, OC +33.
FX manages to take the next pent but OC has quad-dominance and keeps them down. OC's lead keeps on growing and FX doesn't look up too it as in the last round. 7 minutes remaining and OC has a nice lead of 59 frags and doesn't seem to be looking back. OC takes a their guys to the outside, securing the last pent for their team. The OC pent manages to knock out a FX-quad. The game is really over, with OC putting all their efforts into the quad and FX not doing enough to break that control.
GG both teams, the second match was really intense and I'd like to see you both on a LAN sometime!" -Ego
